Cyber Sales!
So, yes, it’s “Cyber Monday.” The internet retail equivalent of “Black Friday.” Isn’t the word “cyber” funny? Personally, I had relegated the term to by-gone days of the early internet, back when modems made funny noises (Bing bong, bing bong… bhhhhh….) and you probably received the internet via CompuServe. Ahhh, the 90’s.
Right now all kids’ tees are 15% off! I’m usually that guy running around on Christmas Eve buying all his presents in the three remaining hours before the mall closes, but some of you out there are way better planners. If you’re of the latter sort, then the current spread of Run, We Must designs in toddler sizes make great gifts for the crunchy families in your life!
Hello September,
It’s ok, I think I can hang with Fall. It’s already colder though, like, 50 degrees this morning…. that happened fast!! *sigh* But, lo, soon the Fall colors will be upon us and many fantastic festivals, as well. Take at look at the events page when you get a sec and see if there’s one near you! Some friends are helping me handle multiple fests on the same days so don’t be confused if you see more than one on a particular weekend…. we got it covered.
For NY Capital District folk, there’s something very fantastic in the works happening in Clifton Park. For those who haven’t heard, there’s a new artist coop in town called Artique. Spearheaded by two art-appreciator / entrepreneurs, Angela Ledtke and Elizabeth King, they have outfitted a nice retail space for a number of hand-picked artisans to display and sell their work in exchange for rent and a few hours a month. I’m really excited for the whole operation and happy to be included! The soft opening has already taken place (though I’m not quite moved in yet) and a ribbon-cutting ceremony is to commence next week. Just visit the aforementioned link for more info!
